✨Class 4 Cultural Exchange Learning✨
On July 10, the international students of Class 4 visited Raymond Hills Nursery School,
which is part of the same SIPs group![]()
Many of the students love children, so they were really looking forward to this event from the preparation stage.
They were warmly welcomed by a handmade welcome board created by the children.
Through cultural activities such as a Tanabata play and a traditional tea ceremony, the children offered the students heartfelt hospitality.
The international students were delighted and said, “Amazing!” in response to the warm welcome.
For many of them, it was their first time tasting matcha
. At first, some were hesitant, thinking it might be bitter, but seeing the children prepare it in front of them gave them the courage to try—and everyone said it was “delicious” with a smile ![]()
The students also gave presentations about their home countries—Bangladesh and Nepal![]()
The children were very curious about the traditional foods and greetings.
The students did their best to answer the children’s questions in Japanese.
It was a great experience for both sides, with meaningful exchanges happening at the children’s level and all in Japanese ![]()
A big thank you to the teachers of Raymond Hills Nursery School for warmly welcoming us.
We hope to see everyone again soon!
