📚Class 1 – “Dekiru!” Activity✨
On May 25, the students of Class 1 visited Sango Town Library 😊
This activity was part of Lesson 4 of Dekiru Nihongo Intermediate, themed “Let’s learn about and use useful facilities in the local community.”
All of the students arrived 10 minutes before the meeting time and entered the library together 📖
After submitting the library card application forms they had filled out in advance, they listened to an explanation about the library from the head librarian while waiting for their cards to be issued.
The students were surprised to learn that the library has more than 200,000 books and that there is no limit on the number of items that can be borrowed (excluding manga, magazines, DVDs, etc.) 😲✨
During the free time afterward, some students asked the librarians how to find books, while others used the search computers to look for books that interested them. Everyone really enjoyed exploring the library 📚💻
After spending plenty of time looking around the library, the students moved to a meeting room with the books they had borrowed.
They introduced their books to one another and discussed the differences between libraries in Japan and those in their home countries, making it a very meaningful learning experience 🌏✨
