🚓Police Safety Seminar & Evacuation Drill🔥

On May 8, we welcomed officers from Seiwa Police Station, who conducted a safety seminar for our students 👮‍♂️✨

During the seminar, the officers explained the new bicycle traffic rules introduced in April 🚲, as well as important rules and manners that should be followed while living in Japan 📖

Students also learned how to respond if they encounter suspicious individuals.
They took part in a simulation exercise in which they practiced reporting an incident to the police 📞🗣️
The students calmly practiced explaining “where” and “what” had happened.

Since all students attended the seminar together, it was also a great opportunity for our second-year students to review these important topics✨
Some of the newly enrolled students may have found certain parts difficult, but everything covered in the seminar is essential for living safely in Japan.
We hope they will gradually build their knowledge and awareness through these seminars held every six months 😊

During the fourth period, we also conducted an evacuation drill assuming a fire emergency🔥
The students remained calm while confirming evacuation routes and important safety procedures 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

The students evacuated to the gymnasium on campus, which serves as the designated evacuation area during disasters.
As there had recently been an earthquake in Nara, the students participated very seriously in the drill 🫨

Thank you very much to everyone from Seiwa Police Station for taking the time to visit us 🙇‍♀️✨
