Howdy Japanese Language School Nara

2026.7.2 Staff Diary

✈️🌏Visited Nepal Vol.1 – Japanese Language Centers Edition

Staff members from Howdy Japanese Language School, Nara and Osaka visited Nepal from June 23 to June 25 😊✨

During this trip, we visited Japanese language centers in Kathmandu and Banepa and conducted a test to assess the Japanese language proficiency of students who are scheduled to enroll at our Osaka campus in July 2026 📝

The students had been studying Japanese diligently right up until their departure for Japan, and their efforts were clearly reflected in the test results👏✨

During the pre-departure orientation, the students asked many questions about life in Japan, and we could sense both their excitement and their anxiety about starting a new life abroad💭

When we said, “If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to ask your seniors or teachers 😊,” they gradually relaxed.

As we were leaving, some of them smiled and said,
“Teacher, see you again next month!” 😄✨

Although the popularity of studying in Japan in Nepal seems to have calmed somewhat compared to a few years ago, we still saw many signs reading “JAPAN” in areas of Kathmandu and Banepa where study abroad agencies are concentrated🏢

This time, thanks to special arrangements, we were also given the valuable opportunity to visit a kindergarten, elementary school, junior high school, high school, and university in Nepal🏫✨

We will introduce those experiences in “Visited Nepal Vol.2” 📸🌏
Please stay tuned! 😊✨
