🌻Creating a Flower Bed🌼

The other day, we planted sunflowers and globe amaranths in the open space in front of the school again this year 😊

The Nepalese students who arrived in Japan in April worked hard on the planting while sharing their experiences from home, saying, “This is how we used to plant flowers in Nepal.” ✨

Sunflowers are the official flower of Sango Town 🌻
The seeds were originally given to us by Sango Junior High School, and since then, they have been blooming beautifully at our school every year 😊

We also learned that globe amaranths are flowers used during Tihar, one of Nepal’s most important festivals 🌼
It was very impressive to see the students working with the soil while reminiscing about their hometowns and culture ✨

We will continue to take good care of these flowers together 🌱
We are already looking forward to the day when the sunflowers and globe amaranths bloom beautifully 😊
