π« Visit to Sango Junior High School π«
On January 14, students from Classes 1, 2, and 3 had an exchange with second-year students at Sango Junior High School π
This exchange was held as part of the junior high schoolβs English class. Using simple English and easy Japanese, we introduced ourselves and shared information about foods from our home countries ππ
π€ First, the junior high school students introduced their school and explained the rules of rock-paper-scissors in English ββοΈβ
Our students were very impressed by how confidently and clearly they spoke π
They were also curious about the differences from schools in their home countries, such as club activities and the swimming pool on campus πβ¨
π₯ After splitting into groups, they talked about birthdays π, hobbies π¨, and favorite foods π°
As the conversations continued, everyone gradually relaxed, and laughter could be heard everywhere π
The junior high school students also used Chromebooks π» to show Japanese foods and famous sightseeing spots πΎ
It was a wonderful opportunity to learn about each otherβs cultures ππ€
πβ¨ At the end, everyone enjoyed making origami together.
Some students learned how to fold a crane, while others taught junior high school students how to make their own original creations ποΈπ ππ± Sharing both the fun and challenges of learning foreign languages with the junior high school students made this a very meaningful exchange.
Everyone at Sango Junior High School, if you see international students around town, please feel free to say hello πβ¨
