ποΈπ Kakizome Event πποΈ
On January 8, graduating students from Classes 1, 2, and 3 took part in a Kakizome event π
Kakizome (New Year Calligraphy) is a traditional Japanese New Year custom β¨
As many students were experiencing it for the first time, they began by practicing in the classroom using water calligraphy π§βπ«ποΈ
It was heartwarming to see students teaching and helping one another, challenging themselves with difficult kanji, and earnestly practicing the words they wished to write π
When it was time for the main event, the sight of students holding their brushes with focused expressions was truly impressive βοΈβ¨
Once the works were completed, the classroom was filled with bright smiles from the students ππΈ
Each piece reflected the individuality and thoughts of every student, and all of the teachers and staff were deeply moved π
Through this Kakizome experience, the students not only encountered Japanese culture but also spent valuable time reflecting on their own goals and aspirations π
