✨Yamato River Festival✨
Summer vacation has come to an end, and the students of Howdy Japanese Language School Nara Campus are back and full of energy!
Today, we’d like to share a report from the summer break 🌸
📅 On Saturday, August 23rd, our students performed on stage at the Yamato River Festival held in Sangō Town.
This year, Nepalese students showcased a dance performance 💃🇳🇵
🌟 2nd-Year Student Solo Dance
A solo performance was presented to the Teej festival song “Ma ta Narauri.”
With confident movements and steady posture, the dancer received loud applause 👏 from the audience.
🌼 1st-Year Group Dance (4 students)
Dancing to the insert song “Hey Kanchi” from the movie Durga,
they took on the challenge of performing a Kauda dance—a cheerful Nepalese folk dance.
Although they had only recently arrived in Japan, the students practiced diligently and wowed the audience with their adorable and well-coordinated performance✨
Many in the audience shared warm feedback such as, “That was wonderful!”
This experience gave students the joy of seeing their hard work pay off and the delight of sharing their culture with others.
We are deeply grateful to the festival organizers and everyone who came to watch for giving us this opportunity again this year.
Moving forward, we hope to continue supporting our students’ growth together with the local community and expanding the circle of cultural exchange 🌏✨
