🌸Our First Japanese Cooking Experience🌸

On January 16, with the continued support of the Sango Town School Lunch Center, students from Class 3 took part in a Japanese cooking workshop 🍽️

✨ This time’s menu featured four dishes ✨
🍙 Rice balls (salt, kombu seaweed, bonito flakes)
🐟 Grilled salmon
🥬 Spinach with sesame dressing
🥣 Miso soup

The dishes may look simple, but once we started cooking, we realized how deep and delicate Japanese cuisine can be…! 🤔
We began by tasting dashi made from kombu and bonito flakes✨
The moment everyone took a sip, voices saying “Delicious!” could be heard all around 😋
The gentle flavor helped everyone relax and ease their nerves, making it easier to begin cooking ☺️
Many students cook at home every day, but for most of them, this was their first time making Japanese food 🔰
Thanks to the careful and kind guidance we received, every dish turned out wonderfully delicious, and everyone was very satisfied ✨
Another important highlight was how students communicated with each other and worked together as a team 🤝
The Japanese meal we created together was truly special—both in taste and in the fun we shared 🍙💛
To everyone at the school lunch center, thank you very much 🙇‍♀️✨
